Welcome to "gentle guide canine services", owned and operated by Alison Devereux & Hans Reher with Lorna Pena and Adam Ragsdale. We are pleased to offer dog walking, boarding, daycare, pet-sitting and cat visitation services to our neighbours in the Yonge Street & St. Clair Avenue area of Toronto.

 

Alison and Hans are proud pet-parents to our young Cockapoo, Jamie. Lorna is pet-Mum to her cat, Tigger, as well as her two boys, Nathan & Daniel. Adam lives with his three cats, Maple, Merlin & Misty. We are all active in the animal rights movement; we are proud members of PETA; Alison is a founder and Executive Member of the Rosehill Park Dog Owners Association and has studied with the Companion Animal Sciences Institute. Adam volunteers in the cat care department at the Toronto Humane Society. We are all certified in Pet First Aid & CPR; and our business is registered, licensed and insured.

 

We only use positive, gentle training methods with our own companion animals and extend the same loving care to our clients. On walks, we take care to match dogs who will interact in a positive manner. We provide complimentary, healthy pet treats with each walk. We leave a review of your dogs' time outside the home with each outing. And we use biodegradable pick-up bags, in order to be both responsible and environmentally-friendly.

We offer a complimentary half-hour "doggie trial walk" or "kitty meet & greet" to our new clients. All new boarding and daycare clients are offered a one-hour in-home trial "play-date".
