Welcome to "gentle guide canine services", owned and operated by Alison & Hans Reher with Lorna Pena. We are pleased to offer dog walking, boarding, daycare and cat visitation services to our neighbours in the mid-town area of Toronto.
Alison and Hans are proud pet-parents to Maddox, our delightful Golden Retriever, and our precious cat, Tamsin. Lorna is pet-Mum to her cat, Tigger, as well as her two boys Nathan & Daniel. We are all active in the animal rights movement; we are proud members of PETA; and Alison is a Member of the Association of Animal Behavior Professionals, as well as a founder and Executive Member of the Rosehill Park Dog Owners Association. Alison is currently studying Professional Dog Training with the Companion Animal Sciences Institute. We are all certified in Pet First Aid & CPR; and our business is registered, licensed and insured.
We only use positive, gentle training methods with our companion animals and extend the same loving care to our clients. We walk a maximum of up to four dogs at a time, in order to guarantee that your canine companion receives the individual attention they deserve. We provide complimentary organic pet treats with each walk. We leave a review of your dogs' time outside the home with each outing. And we use biodegradable pick-up bags, in order to be both responsible and environmentally-friendly.
In order to secure our services, we ask that you guarantee that your pet is licensed with Toronto Animal Services & is up-to-date with all required vaccinations. We offer a complimentary half-hour "trial walk" to our new clients. All new boarding and daycare clients are offered a one-hour in-home trial "play-date".
