I have 3 dogs of all different ages and sizes and they are the 'loves of my life'! With that said, I would only trust 'gentle guide' to walk my dogs and always have peace of mind that they are being well exercised and loved by Alison and Hans. We adopted Robbie from a shelter when he was nine years old. At the time, he was not socialized and was a very shy little dog. We both work full-time and so were very fortunate to find Alison and Hans and started Robbie in their daycare program. We wanted to find a place that could help us in socializing Robbie as well as people that we could trust to take care of our newest family member. Well, the change in Robbie was incredible! Robbie blossomed into a frisky, sociable little dog who now looks forward to his pick-ups in the morning and his walks with his posse every day. "gentle guide's" gentle approach has worked wonders! Raising two young dogs together from puppyhood has been joyful work - but without the services of Alison and Hans, it would have been a lot more challenging: tired dogs are good dogs, and our pooches come home tuckered-out after being with them! We have boarded our dog on several occasions with Alison & Hans. Each time he returns to their place he greets them with delight and is obviously very happy there. Ask any Rosehill Park regular, and they will tell you that Alison is the heart of our park community. Through her leadership in the Dog Owners Association, organization of park clean-ups, volunteer work, and knowledge of canine issues, Alison has earned the respect and admiration of the local community. A Home away from Home - Lots of Love , Encouragement with a Smile, Delicious Treats, Good Buddies to Hang out with and Reinforced Positive Training - that has been Skully's World with Alison and Hans since he was 7 weeks old and now that he is 2 years old, he is begging me politely as taught by them for more time with his buddies and warm, caring, respectful pack leaders, Alison and Hans. Skully loves exploring all the New Horizons that Alison and Hans have exposed him to. When Skully was a year old, he unfortunately experienced a frightful situation. Alison and Hans diligently worked with me and were able to tailor their daycare to meet both my needs and Skully's needs as we worked through a challenging time. In time, Skully came out on top and a good part of his success has been directly related to the dedication, positive reinforcement, invaluable information and feedback, precious time, and encouragement of Alison and Hans. They both exhibit such a calm, assertive, relaxed manner and I am amazed at how Skully responds to their Really Reliable Recall on the very first time that he is called - Skully is a free spirited, independent little soul so that certainly shows how credible Alison and Hans are as a Winning Team - They are an Olympic Gold in my territory. Along with training courses, keeping up to date with their knowledge of the Dog World, and most of all their caring and positive ways, Alison and Hans continue to bring along many rising stars whose owners will certainly be cheering on the sidelines and feeling such joy, pride and relief while observing and playing with their Best Friend.
